Material Expediter

From SAP transactions and inventory audits to coordinating material movement and preventing shortages, you'll play a key role in making sure nothing slows the line down. Here's the work you'll do:
Maintain, audit and reconcile production line inventory.
Ensure accurate SAP records and collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies.
Coordinate inbound and outbound material flow between production lines, warehouses and staging areas.
Communicate material needs to stakeholders to maintain uninterrupted production.
Perform SAP transactions including work order creation, purchase requisition entry, goods movements, staging activities and shortage review.
Utilize MRP tools to support planning and production schedules
Package, process and route acceptable and rejected materials per plant procedures.
Prepare contract closeout material by verifying quantities, updating documentation, labeling and packaging items for shipment in accordance with contract closeout requirements.
Participate in improvement activities focused on material accuracy, efficiency and process reliability.
Identify recurring issues and recommend corrective actions.
Generate reports, charts and other documentation supporting planning, inventory accuracy and production readiness.
Maintain compliance with company policies and documentation standards.

Ability to resolve problems in a team environment.
Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel, SAP and other relevant programs.

H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
Associate's Degree (AA) Preferred
5+ years Experience in SAP, MRP, material auditing and maintaining preferred.
Must possess a valid REAL ID-compliant driver's license, which includes the gold or black star in the upper corner, indicating it is federally compliant.
A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate with team members is essential for contributing to a cohesive work environment.
Successful completion of a background screening process is mandated for all candidates.
In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $47,040 - $70,560 annually. Please note that this range is not a guarantee of compensation; final offer amounts may vary based on experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on the date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
