Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Interessant Hotels & Resorts Management. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
Position Summary: The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, and supporting team members to maintain brand standards. This role acts as a leader on shift, resolving guest concerns, managing workflow, and ensuring accurate and efficient front office procedures. This will be a PM position.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service & Operations
Lead by example in delivering outstanding guest service in alignment with brand standards
Handle guest concerns, complaints, and service recovery promptly and professionally
Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes
Monitor lobby activity and maintain a welcoming, organized environment
Team Leadership
Supervise front desk associates during assigned shifts
Provide guidance, coaching, and real-time feedback to team members
Assist with training new hires and ongoing development of staff
Ensure proper shift coverage and support team accountability
Administrative & Financial Duties
Ensure accuracy of reservations, billing, and folio management
Monitor cash handling, credit card procedures, and compliance with policies
Assist with balancing shifts, reports, and audit preparation
Review daily arrivals, departures, and special requests
Communication & Coordination
Act as the primary point of contact between departments during the shift
Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Engineering, and other teams
Ensure all guest requests and service issues are properly documented and followed up
Compliance & Standards
Enforce hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards
Ensure adherence to safety, security, and confidentiality protocols
Support audit readiness and compliance with company expectations
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience. Overtime pay in accordance with state and federal laws. Opportunities for performance-based increases and advancement.
