How you'll contribute
The Cath Lab Technician provides high-quality direct and indirect patient care in accordance with established standards and scope of practice. This role performs all clinical responsibilities with a strong focus on patient safety, accuracy, and reduction of medical errors. The technician develops and adjusts individualized plans of care based on patient response, and effectively monitors documents, and communicates patient conditions to the care team, provider, patient, and family. Collaboration across disciplines is essential to support patient transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial or spiritual needs. The technician also assesses learning needs and delivers age appropriate patient and family education while advocating for patients' physical and emotional well-being. This position requires strong critical-thinking skills, sound judgment, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and compliance with departmental on-call requirements.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have
HS Diploma or equivalent
Licensed by the state as a radiation operator; Registered by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist; CI or RCIS preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ACLS are required within six months of hire
One year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab preferred
Must be able to meet requirements of departmental on call policy
