Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Compensation: $254 per hourly

Job Overview:

• Start Date: Flexible Specialty: CRNA (50 mile radius rule, no local candidates) Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift Details: 40 hour work week ( Will ONLY consider candidates that can work every week, no part timers.
• ) Schedule: Will consider 5x8s, 3x12s, or 4x10s - MUST be available to work 4 weeks per month.
• Want them to rotate to one of the ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs).
• Lexington has three ASCs.
• They are located in Lexington, Irmo, and the Northeast Columbia area.
• As long as they agree to rotate to one of the surgery centers, it does not have to be specific to one surgery center.
• They can expect to travel to the surgery center up to 1 time a week.
• On occasion they may be asked to go twice.
• Depending on when the cases finish at the surgery center, they may be able to finish their shift there.
• If they finish at the surgery center before their shift is completed, they will need to travel back to the main hospital to complete their shift.
• Work Details: • Support staff: Anesthesia techs • Patients per day: Approximately 150 anesthetics per day between Main OR, ASCs, IR, Cath Lab, EP, OB, MRI, etc.
• • Patient population/age: 18 Geriatric.
• Very limited pediatric cases but travelers is not included in pediatric cases • Department description: Large department of 70 CRNAs with 15 anesthesiologists working under Medical Direction Care Team model providing anesthesia for generally, GYN, ortho, urology, and vascular cases.
• •# of ORs: 31- they use about 25 on a daily basis and 9 non OR anesthesia sites- mri- ct-IR - cath lab- endoscopy-OB- 3 ASCs.
• • EMR: Epic ( Highly Preferred) • Special Equipment: Have Glidescopes, Alaris IV pumps.
• Utilize Draeger anesthesia machines.
• • Skills required: No regional or block skills needed Practice Setting: • Hospital Medical Center • Surgery Center Requirements: • Board Certification: CRNA • State license required: Yes - but will accept compact license • Certifications preferred: ACLS, BLS, PALS • Minimum experience required: 2 years Credentialing Timeframe: days Willing To License?: Yes - if they have a compact license Rate is ALL INCLUSIVE of travel.
