Purchasing Clerk Overland Park, KS | Fully Onsite Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire | $50-55,000 annually LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a client who is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Entry-Level Purchasing Clerk to support our purchasing team with order processing and administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn purchasing and supply chain fundamentals in a structured, supportive environment. This role focuses on processing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, maintaining accurate records, and assisting internal teams to ensure materials and supplies are ordered and received on time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Order Processing & Data Entry

Enter and process purchase orders accurately in the company system
Update order details including quantities, pricing, vendors, and delivery dates
Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation

Order Tracking & Follow-Up

Track open purchase orders and confirm delivery timelines with vendors
Follow up on delayed, incomplete, or incorrect orders and escalate issues as needed
Assist with matching purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices for accuracy

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required
At least 6 months-1 year of previous purchasing/order processing experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer skills; comfortable with data entry
Ability to follow processes and meet deadlines
Good communication and organizational skills
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $55,000.00 per year
