Job Title - Student Assistant - Fall 2026
Department - Residence Life and Housing Office
Job Description/Duties - Performance of simple repetitive office tasks, little or no experience, minor responsibilities and must have the ability to work independently and ability to complete daily work tasks.
Days/Hours Needed - Monday Friday 8:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m. 20 hrs a week during semester Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the semester
Campus Location/Bldg. - Residence Life and Housing Winchell Hall
Required Qualifications - Ability to work independently and to complete daily work tasks without daily direction from supervisor. Must be a SUNY Cortland student
Preferred Qualifications - Efficient with spreadsheets and Microsoft Word as well as scanning and copying multiple papers.
Physical Demands - Physically lifting and carrying bags of shredding for recycling, shredding multiple sheets of paper, breaking boxes down to recycle, as well as cleaning/wiping down office counters and tables.
Special Conditions for Eligibility - 2 letters of reference from most current direct supervisors
