Vascular Surgery Locum Midland, MI May Start Clinic + Call

Start Date: Week of May 11, 2026 (Orientation & Proctoring)

Schedule:

• Monday Friday (Clinic + OR + Rounding)
• Seeking 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off coverage
• Weekend Call: 1:3 rotation (occasional 2 weekends/month)
• Holiday Call: July 4th coverage

Orientation & Proctoring:

• 1 day Orientation / Epic training
• Up to 3 days Proctoring
• Proctoring requirement: 5 cases
• Orientation Rate:
• $500 ( 4 hours)
• $1,000 (>4 hours)

Practice Setting:
Clinic, inpatient rounding, procedures, and surgery
Utilizes cath lab, IR, hybrid OR, standard OR, and vascular lab

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Inpatient rounding
• Outpatient clinic
• Surgical procedures
• Vascular lab/testing reads
• Weekday, weekend, and holiday call coverage

Volumes (2025):

• Total Cases: 2,371
• OR: 566
• Invasive: 1,323
• Satellite: 184
• Minor Cosmetic: 276
• Testing Reads: 10,195
• Clinic Volume: 5,995 (across 3 surgeons)

Support Staff:

• 4 APPs (no supervision required)

EMR:
Epic / Dragon

Requirements:

• BC/BE Vascular Surgery
• BLS, ACLS
• Must have performed at least 50 major vascular surgical procedures in the past 12 months
• Case logs required (including minimum 7 open aortic cases)

Licensing:

• IMLC accepted
• Will consider candidates with license in process

Credentialing:
30 days (prioritized based on start date)
