JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active NY Medical License required
• Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years (ABIM/ABFM)
• DEA: Active DEA with NY address required
• Certifications: ACLS (AHA), ATLS, PALS, Infection Control Certificate
• Experience: Residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; ICU experience required
• Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice file; case logs (24 months); minimum 50 CME credits; TB test, flu vaccination, driver's license copy
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide inpatient hospitalist care during day shifts on a 7-on/7-off schedule
• Manage ICU patients including ventilator support as needed
• Respond to codes and rapid response events
• Collaborate with APPs and telehealth providers for patient care coverage
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech Expanse EMR
