Program Manager – Environmental Solutions
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Program Manager. This is a ten‑month contract assignment based in Phoenix, AZ.
Responsibilities
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead multiple interrelated projects that support a common strategic goal. This role will focus on driving stabilization and integration initiatives related to recent Environmental Solutions acquisitions. The Program Manager will provide overarching leadership, coordination, and stakeholder alignment to ensure projects progress cohesively and deliver successful outcomes.
Program Leadership & Strategy:
Lead and coordinate multiple cross‑functional projects within a larger program framework
Align program objectives with broader business goals and priorities
Partner with business and technology leaders to define roadmaps, dependencies, and success metrics
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
Engage and influence stakeholders across business units and executive teams
Facilitate collaboration among diverse teams to ensure cohesive delivery
Translate complex program details into clear communication for both technical and executive audiences
Organizational Change Management:
Drive adoption of new technologies and processes across teams
Assess organizational impacts and oversee training/change readiness activities
Program & Project Management Execution:
Manage complex, cross‑functional IT program portfolios using Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and traditional methodologies
Oversee risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution
Flex seamlessly between detailed project tracking and strategic, executive‑level program reporting
Financial & Resource Oversight:
Manage budgets and resources for programs valued at $2M+
Ensure optimal allocation of people, timelines, and financial investments
Communicate effectively with technical teams to support solution delivery
Requirements
Experience driving organizational change and adoption of new processes or technologies
Technical understanding sufficient to collaborate with IT teams
Demonstrated success leading large, multi‑project IT programs
Skilled in stakeholder management and executive communication
Strong strategic thinking and prioritization capabilities
Proficiency with Agile, Scrum, and/or SAFe frameworks
Strong risk management, financial oversight, and planning skills
Ability to operate effectively at both project and program leadership levels
Preferred Qualifications
PMP or equivalent professional certification
Vendor management and RFP experience
Experience working with systems integrator (SI) partners
Experience with Clarity PPM
Industry‑related domain knowledge
Strong executive presence

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
