Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and implementation of New Student Orientation sessions (in-person and/or virtual)
Provide excellent customer service by welcoming and assisting new students and guests
Support check-in, registration, and distribution of orientation materials
Help facilitate small group activities and guide students throughout the orientation process
Serve as a resource by answering questions and connecting students to campus services
Assist with set-up and breakdown of orientation events and spaces
Collaborate with professional staff and Orientation Leaders to ensure program success
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and professional environment for all participants
This position is located on both the Midlands Technical College Airport and Beltline Campus.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Previous leadership or campus involvement experience
Familiarity with campus resources and services
Experience in customer service or event support
