Overnight Concrete Manufacturing QC Inspector
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Manufacturing Quality Control Inspector who is available to permanently work overnight shift. This is not a rotating shift and requires consistent overnight availability. Duties & Responsibilities
Inspect precast concrete product and component dimensions
Perform tensioning processes for prestressed concrete products
Inspect all reinforcing, connection, and handling hardware for conformance to the issued design documents
Ensure proper stability of setup of all forming installed by the production staff prior to the placement of concrete
Review and approve the finish quality for all types of precast concrete products before and after
Requires enforcement, consultation, and the reporting of all of the listed inspections for the job
Requires that proper recording, reporting, and documentation is completed to conform to the Finfrock Plant-Quality-Safety Manual (PQSM)
Responsible for employee safety in designated areas
Must participate in a safety training program which includes seminars and in-house certifications
Enforce safety guidelines conveyed to inspectors via safety manager and in-house training
This position periodically requires weekend work as necessary to meet concrete production schedule
Qualifications
PCI certifications are a top priority; candidates must have or be able to obtain ACI Field Testing Technician Grade I and PCI Levels IIII within a reasonable timeframe
Ability to effectively use tablet and smartphone technology, as all plans and documentation are digital/electronic, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to safely climb forms and ladders to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions as required by the role, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to lift, carry, and handle loads up to 15 lbs throughout the workday, with or without reasonable accommodation
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Demonstrated ethical conduct and professional integrity
Ability to perform job responsibilities effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Effective time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
