Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA)

Job Summary

The NP/PA works under physician supervision to provide patient care in an outpatient setting, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing medications, and patient education.

Key Responsibilities (Shortened)

• Conduct physical exams and review medical histories

• Diagnose and treat patients; order and interpret tests

• Prescribe medications and perform minor procedures

• Document patient care and monitor progress

• Educate patients and follow clinic safety protocols

Qualifications

• Certified NP or PA from an accredited program

• Active state license or eligibility

• 1+ year of clinic/physician office experience preferred

• Fluent in Spanish and English (required)

• Latin American living experience preferred

Skills

• Knowledge of primary care and medications

• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to handle urgent situations calmly

Working Conditions

• Outpatient clinic environment with routine exposure to medical settings

• Requires standing, movement, and occasional lifting (up to 20 lbs)

• Must maintain CPR certification and valid driver's license
