Be part of a high-performing Finish project team at PACE Supply. As a Submittal Clerk, you will play a critical role in delivering Best-In-Class submittal packages to our contractor partners. Working closely with the team and leveraging both internal and external resources, you will help build sustainable relationships and trust with our customers while supporting PACE Supply's strategic priorities.
What We're Looking For
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external customers
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word) and comfort learning new software platforms
Previous experience in construction, distribution, or submittals is a strong plus

Responsibilities
Prepare accurate product submittals using our internal software platform prior to project start
Compile complete product Operation & Maintenance (O&M) packages upon project completion
Maintain and update the submittal tracking log
Review colleagues' work for accuracy and completeness before sending to customers
Review finish quotes to verify proper product selection and clearly identify customer needs
Research and locate specification sheets using all available resources when needed
Communication (Internal & External)
Maintain regular communication with Account Managers, Project Managers, and Estimators to ensure submittals are complete and accurate
Send completed submittal links to the appropriate customer contacts
Receive and promptly address feedback on required corrections
Review and log all incoming submittal requests via email
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED or equivalent education.
Minimum 12 years of administrative, clerical, or coordination experience (construction, distribution, or manufacturing preferred)
Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading and accuracy skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook, Excel, and Word)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Preferred:
Experience preparing submittals, O&M manuals, or project documentation in the finish/construction industry
Familiarity with construction products, specifications, or the submittal process
Experience using job management or CRM software
Previous exposure working with contractors, project managers, or estimators
