Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Patient Demographics: Adults, Geriatrics
Patient Volume/Census: 1820 patients per day
Admissions: Limited inpatient consults as needed
Case Mix: Hematology/Oncology including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy
FACILITY INFORMATION
EMR System: Epic
Office Equipment Available: Oncology infusion chairs (15 chairs)
Support Staff Available: 1 MD, 1 NP, 3 CMA/CNA support staff
Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered (per facility guidelines)
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Chemotherapy administration oversight
Immunotherapy and targeted therapy management
Oncology patient evaluation and treatment planning
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active NY license required
Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
DEA: Required
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience preferred
Other Qualifications: Epic experience required; complete work history with no gaps over 30 days
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care
Manage treatment plans and oversee infusion therapies
Perform patient evaluations and follow-ups
Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with facility standards
