JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active Indiana medical license or IMLC eligibility
Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology (Certification required within 5 years of residency)
DEA: Active DEA Certification required
Certifications:
BLS (AHA issued) required for all specialties
ACLS (AHA issued) required if requesting conscious sedation privileges
Experience: Minimum 2 years of urology experience
Vaccination Requirements:
Flu vaccination required (or approved medical/religious exemption)
COVID vaccination required (or approved medical/religious exemption)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide inpatient urology care and hospital call coverage
Perform inpatient rounding during call coverage
Manage general urology cases including complex catheter placements
Perform diagnostic and surgical urologic procedures as required
Coordinate care with hospital staff and specialists
Enter orders and maintain accurate medical documentation within the Epic EMR system
