JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active Texas license and DEA required
Board: BC in EM, FP, or IM; if FP/IM, 2,000+ hours of ED experience required
DEA: Required
Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, Trauma CME (9 hours annually)
Experience: 2+ years EM experience for NP/PA; 2,000+ hours for non-EM physicians
Other Qualifications: Clean file required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide 12-hour clinical emergency coverage on flexible schedule
Coordinate care with 11-hour APP shift coverage
Manage ED patients across general emergency, OB, and surgical cases
Accept and collaborate with moonlighting residents
Accurately document in MedHost EMR
