No. of Beds in Department: 35 ED beds
Trauma Level: Level III Trauma Center
EMR System: Meditech & Dragon
Specialty Backup Available: APPs work between Main ED & Fast Track
Support Staff Available: APPs, Residents (moonlighting)

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
General emergency medicine procedures
64-Slice CT available
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Missouri license required
Board: BE/BC in EM, FP, or IM (must have 3 years ER experience); ABEM preferred
DEA: Required
Certifications: ACLS, ATLS (required); PALS preferred
Experience: Minimum 3 years ER experience for non-EM boarded physicians
Other Qualifications: Experience with Meditech & Dragon preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide emergency department coverage
Participate in 12-hour shifts across flexible schedule
Coordinate with APPs between Main ED and Fast Track
Evaluate and manage a diverse patient population
Accept moonlighting residents for coverage support
Accurately document all care in EMR
