No. of Beds in Department: 420-bed hospital; 21 infusion rooms; dedicated inpatient oncology floors
Trauma Level: Level II
Office Equipment Available: Radiation therapy and infusion center onsite; certified oncology nurses; onsite fitness facility
Specialty Backup Available: Radiation Oncology, hospitalist support, radiology, pain management, neurosurgery
Support Staff Available: 3 board-certified Hem/Onc physicians, certified oncology nurses, multidisciplinary cancer team

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Must be licensed or eligible in Alabama
Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
Experience: Fellowship trained in Hem/Onc
Other Qualifications: Team-oriented, able to work in collaborative environment; PSLF eligible
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care in a hospital-based cancer center
Participate in shared 1:4 call rotation
Collaborate with multidisciplinary cancer care team
Engage in both inpatient and outpatient care delivery
Participate in teaching and academic opportunities through affiliation with ACOM
