Licenses: Must be licensed or eligible in Alabama
Certifications: Board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine
Experience: Internal Medicine residency trained
Other Qualifications: Experience with diverse patient populations preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide overnight coverage for ED unassigned patients requiring admission
Co-manage critical care patients with intensivist support
Perform admissions, transfers, and inpatient consults
Work collaboratively with subspecialists and support teams
Participate in teaching through ACOM and ACGME residency programs
