Palos Verdes Golf Club is a private club located in the middle of an 800-acre parkland preserve overlooking Santa Monica Bay with ocean views visible from several holes. Established in 1924, the golf course has long been referred to as "a hidden gem" and the clubhouse is a designated historical building by the Palos Verdes Historical Society.

Essential duties include but are not limited to:
Report to work and clock in/out for scheduled shifts on time in complete and proper uniform
Maintain personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards
Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course
Crumb every table after entrees are cleared and between courses as needed
Clear tables after Member and guests; take tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware etc., in appropriate areas for washing
Remain on the floor at all times and in assigned station when not assisting Servers in kitchen
Promptly clean table tops, chairs and booths between seatings; check floor and clean as required; reset and arrange tabletops
Respond appropriately and politely to guest requests; communicate guest requests to Servers as needed
Communicate with Servers and Captains to assure efficient seating, table utilization and Member and guest service
Assist Servers as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods
Be aware of all table and position numbers
Keep all work areas clean and properly stocked according to the current meal period
Remain attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, Managers and fellow employees at all times
Complete daily opening and closing duties and cleaning according to established side work
Assist fellow employees as needed throughout the shift
Provide service to Members and guests in Servers' absence as needed
Ensure overall Member and guest satisfaction
Maintain a neat and clean work area including liquor rooms and behind bars (bar-back)
Follow all company policies, systems, controls, and procedures
Experience & Education:
Minimum 1 year of bussing/bar-backing and/or food service experience in an upscale restaurant environment; fine dining and/or country club experience highly preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Serv-Safe certified
CPR certified a plus
