The Park Grounds Maintenance position will have varying duties on a day-to-day basis. They will be responsible for manual labor tasks, landscaping, site maintenance, and general support of operations on location for the Spokane Valley Parks Department. This position may require the use of hand tools, power tools, and various equipment. Our Maintenance Technicians display strong communication skills when providing customers with product/service information, when working with our customers onsite.

Wage Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour. The starting wage is determined based on relevant experience. This is an hourly, non-exempt position.
Available Shift: 10-hour shift, Wednesday - Saturday

Possess a valid driver's license and have a history of safe driving
Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test (THC excluded).
At least 21 years old or older (requirement to drive a company vehicle)

Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently and as part of a crew
Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills to understand and meet customer needs
Ability to work in varying weather conditions
