Administrative Assistant To Chief Financial Officer
$22.75 per hour 12 month calendar with standard benefits
This position works 8 hours per day and 40 per week. The scheduled work hours for this position are 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. This position starts June 22, 2026.
Position Summary
Under direct supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, provide administrative and clerical support to CFO and Finance department as needed.
Essential Functions
Handle complex secretarial tasks
Assist Chief Financial Officer and Director of Finance with work tasks as assigned
Contact to Superintendent's Office for all BoardDocs information from Finance, Purchasing, Transportation, Child Nutrition Services, and Facilities
Prepare agendas as needed for Board of Education meetings
Member of the Safety/Risk Management Committee
Handle all travel arrangements for Chief Financial Officer, Director of Finance, Director of Purchasing, and Coordinator of Financial Reporting
Handle districtwide property and liability insurance renewals and coverages, and processes bonds and licenses, as required
Arrange and reschedules meetings as necessary
Screen calls for Chief Financial Officer as needed
Handle responses to routine correspondence, as directed
Maintain records and files
Work with PTO's regarding insurance renewals and coverages
Serve as District User Manager with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE)
Ensure all CFO administrative duties are addressed appropriately
Support CFO in projects as required
Ensure CFO is administratively organized with regard to supplies, etc.
Update Finance pages on district websites as needed
Other duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer

Ability to handle heavy volume of telephone contacts in pleasant, courteous manner
Ability to handle multiple and changing projects/tasks in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality
Ability to stoop, bend, twist, lift, and manipulate equipment, supplies, and mail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment requiring a master of multi-tasking
Ensures Finance Department has needed supplies and maintains lower-level Finance Department multifunction copier
Basic Requirements
High school diploma; prefer 30 or more college credit hours
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint and Google
3+ years' experience supporting executive level management
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Excellent organizational skills and flexible self-starter, keen ability to prioritize
Professional telephone skills
