A finance company in Chicago is seeking an administrative assistant to join their team. This Administrative Assistant position offers a competitive salary of $50,000 – $70,000 and follows a highly desirable schedule of 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM. This is an engaging, medium-paced role ideal for someone who is highly professional, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while staying on top of daily responsibilities. This individual will play a key role in supporting both administrative and front office functions to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations. Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:
Manage front desk operations, including greeting guests and handling incoming calls with a high level of professionalism
Coordinate heavy scheduling and calendar management using Microsoft Outlook
Provide administrative support to team members, including document preparation and data entry
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and office correspondence
Maintain office organization, supplies, and general upkeep of common areas
Assist with meeting coordination, including preparing materials and setting up conference rooms
Support internal processes and assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed
Serve as a reliable point of contact for office-related needs and ensure a positive office environment
Qualifications of the Administrative Assistant:
Prior xywuqvp administrative or office support experience required
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook for scheduling
Highly professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative without constant direction
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a medium-paced environment
Reliable, proactive, and able to anticipate needs and follow through
