OR RN - Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse

A regional acute care hospital is seeking a skilled OR Circulator RN to support surgical procedures and ensure safe, efficient operative care. The OR RN will collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to provide intraoperative patient care and maintain a sterile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate during surgical procedures and ensure OR safety and compliance

• Coordinate surgical instrumentation and procedural needs

• Monitor patient status and assist with intraoperative documentation

• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams

• Maintain sterile technique and support infection control standards

• Prepare operating rooms and assist with post-procedure turnover

• Educate patients and families regarding perioperative care

• Adhere to hospital policies and quality standards

Qualifications

• Active state RN license

• OR Circulator experience preferred

• BLS certification (ACLS a plus)

• Strong critical thinking and teamwork skills
