PROJECT MANAGER - Full Time

Responsibilities
SUMMARY: The Project Manager oversees project management initiatives for multiple departments. This individual will be responsible for the direction and timely communication to Leadership and stakeholders on project goals and deliverables. This individual will drive initiatives to achieve successful project outcomes. The Project Manager oversees assigned projects throughout the project life cycle and is responsible for coordination and completion of assigned projects on time, within budget and scope. The Project Manager will conduct post project implementation reviews to identify successes and opportunities for improvement on future projects.

Works directly with leadership teams to develop project plans for the assigned projects ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and objectives.

Serves as project manager for assigned projects; runs meetings, manages documentation agendas/minutes, tracks tasks, issues, action items, escalates risks and issues as necessary, and drives projects to completion.

Prepare and produce project materials for internal and external stakeholders, including presentations and documentation of meeting outcomes across multiple projects.

Successfully communicate across a wide spectrum of audiences, lead change initiatives, have strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.

Conducts project discovery activities for assigned projects: gathering specifications, identify customer requirements, determine resources needed for successful project delivery.

Researches and resolves barriers and creates and assigns tasks.

Keeps leadership and project stakeholders informed of activities, needs, and problems, especially regarding work plans, timelines, and project barriers.

Serves as liaison for project stakeholders and project development team.

Adheres to appropriate UHS Project Management standards.

Conducts post‑project analyses and creates recommendation reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Travel is required on an as‑needed basis.

Perform other duties assigned.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience : Requires minimum 8 years project management experience, preferably in healthcare information systems.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations : Certified in Project Management, preferably Project Management Institute PMP or CAPM.

Hours : 8:30am-5:30pm
