Global Program Leader – PLM Products/Cloud
Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

Summary of Role
We are looking for a Global Program Leader – PLM Products to report directly to our new Global Strategic Programs & Operations Leader. The role will support the transition to a cloud delivery model, collaborating with program leaders across SIM, Life Sciences, and other product groups to drive innovation and oversee program management across product segments.

Key Responsibilities

Build a cross‑segment team in the PLM Program area (Cloud, Data & AI, Digital Threads, or Industrial Metaverse).

Create and implement a PLM Portfolio Roadmap and Priorities, operating a system for tracking a plan of record for cross‑segment programs.

Staff programs, ensure resources are centrally available and aligned with segments to deliver according to plan.

Identify and manage cross‑segment dependencies.

Work with the finance team to develop an approach for tracking investment levels for cross‑segment programs.

Develop and execute cloud adoption strategies.

Create roadmaps for cloud migration programs.

Align cloud initiatives with business objectives.

Define KPIs and success metrics.

Ensure cloud architecture standards, security compliance and monitor performance.

Guide technical teams on best practices.

Lead multiple cloud transformation projects simultaneously.

Coordinate between stakeholders and teams.

Manage program budgets and resources.

Track and report program progress, manage risk and mitigation.

Engage with cloud service providers and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Communicate regularly with executive leadership.

Lead organizational change initiatives and develop training programs for cultural transformation.

Enable cloud adoption across teams.

Qualifications

10+ years PLM experience, including leading global teams.

Experience building, organizing, and operating cloud operations in an industrial software domain, including budget preparation and execution.

Technical background with knowledge of cloud service offerings (Azure, AWS, etc.).

Experience with web services, system administration (Linux, Windows), networking, routing, load balancers, DNS, firewalls, etc.

Experience in IT Service Management, data center, server and storage management, virtualization, systems management, and project management.

Broad understanding of the full PLM portfolio.

Demonstrated foundational workflows across PLM Portfolio – BOM, Systems Engineering, 3D Collaboration.

Skills

Excellent communication skills across all levels, from front‑line operations to executive reporting.

Proven ability to deliver operational excellence on a global scale.

Track record of driving change in large organizations, harmonizing processes across global teams.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new environments and technologies.

Proven leadership in building cohesive global teams that are geographically and culturally diverse.

Capacity to execute successfully in high‑pressure, business‑critical situations.

Strong presentation and communication skills to influence business value externally.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, IT, cloud or related discipline or equivalent experience.

You’ll Benefit From
Silicon offers a variety of health and wellness benefits. The pay range for this position is $212,400 – $382,400 annually with a target incentive of 25‑35% of the base salary. Actual compensation may vary with budget and candidate experience.
