Job Description
The Parking Lot Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily parking operations, ensuring efficient traffic flow, exceptional customer service, and enforcement of parking policies. This role supervises a team of parking attendants, cashiers, and enforcement officers and ensures compliance with safety and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise parking attendants, cashiers, and enforcement staff assigned to the lot.

Oversee vehicle entry/exit flow, lot occupancy, and space availability to optimize efficiency.

Ensure staff provide courteous and timely service to customers.

Monitor adherence to parking rules, ticketing procedures, and fee collection.

Handle and resolve customer concerns, disputes, or incidents professionally.

Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness of the lot.

Train new staff on procedures, safety practices, and customer service expectations.

Verify accuracy of collected revenue and ensure timely bank deposits or handoffs.

Coordinate with maintenance or technical staff for repairs to gates, pay stations, or signage.

Maintain accurate records of staffing, incidents, and shift activities.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in business or related field is a plus.

2+ years of experience in parking operations, including supervisory responsibilities.

Strong leadership, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills.

Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with parking management or POS systems.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

Work is performed outdoors and indoors, with exposure to varying weather conditions.

Frequent standing, walking, and moving throughout the parking area.

May require lifting or moving equipment or supplies up to 25 lbs.

Possible exposure to vehicle noise, traffic fumes, and outdoor elements.

Must be able to respond quickly in emergencies or high-traffic situations.
