Retail Team Leader (Key Holder)
Location:
7434 Cottonwood Dr, Jenison, MI 49428
Pay:
$19+/Hour (based on experience)
Work Hours:
Monday to Saturday 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Sunday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Open and close the store
Assist in completing daily store operations and tasks
Unload all merchandise from delivery trucks, organize merchandise, and transfer merchandise from the stockroom to the store
Maintain merchandise – product rotation, proper food handling, receiving, and ensuring product quality
Provide exceptional customer service – building relationships, problem solving, and building sales
Cash handling – bank deposits, providing change for cashiers, setting and counting down registers
Help build and train the team; develop leadership skills while supervising sales associates in the performance of their assigned duties
Requirements
1–2 years of retail experience with progressively increasing responsibility
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs with frequent lifting above shoulder height
Availability to work a flexible, full‑time schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to safely operate power equipment such as slicing equipment, walkie‑lifts, and forklifts where applicable
Occasional response to alarm calls during non‑working hours and ability to work shifts at other stores in the local geographic area
Minimum 18 years old (required)
High School Diploma or equivalent
Successfully pass pre‑employment checks, including a drug screen and criminal background check
Basic computer skills required
