
Supply Specialist III

JP Logistics & Consulting LLC (JPLC) is looking for a full-time Supply Specialist III to support the EAGLE contract at Fort Gordon, GA, in support of Maintenance, Supply, and Transportation.

Hours of Operation: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Job Summary:
Provides technical advice and assistance to supply personnel including direction and performance of duties for lower level positions in Retail Supply Services as well as performs the duties to include but not limited to: processing and segregating receipts, operating the Central Receiving Point (CRP), utilizing hand held terminals and automated system as applicable, implementing causative research and adjusting documents, providing customer assistance, evaluating priorities, validating incoming and outgoing documentation, performing data cleansing, assisting with required location surveys and inventories, processing warehouse denials and turn-ins, and maintaining hand receipt files of temporary loans. Performs technical supply management work (e.g., inventory and storage management to include care of stocks in storage, cataloging, and property utilization) related to local, depot, and other supply activities. Complies with year-end and close-out actions and maintains stock readiness.
Essential Functions:
Analyzes, investigates, and initiates reporting actions on supply discrepancies.
Manages signature card files and verifies that all authorizations are current.
Contact customers for updated cards upon expiration.
Reviews and analyzes data output from automated supply systems and makes corrections when necessary.
Provides complex reports to leadership.
Processes DODAAC transactions and requests changes for RIC.
Reviews supply requisitions for accuracy, may issue and receive supplies.
Updates the Supply Standing Operating Procedure with all changes.
Receives, issues, stores, safeguards, inventories, ships, and disposes of sensitive items.
Provides research, assistance, and/or guidance to coworkers and customers on supply matters.
Manage inventory records, create IAR's and research / resolve inventory discrepancies, input and validate inventory counts, which can be daily / weekly based on system generation.
Manages Release Strategy in LIS.
Interfaces with outside organizations such as Item Managers, LOGSA, or system Help Desks.
Requests disposition instructions for off-post shipping.
Validate DLA-DS Transportation quantities for accuracy and timely processing.
Validate and input COSIS inspection results.
Maintain stock readiness (digital and physical).
Qualifications:
Four years of experience in the military supply field, with two years of experience working in a Supply Support Activity (SSA).
Practical experience using Military Logistics Information Systems (LIS).
Intermediate data entry experience. Desired: Advanced data entry experience.
Must be able to read and comprehend military publications and apply requirements to job duties.
Must be proficient in the use of computers and MS Office software. Desired: Advanced use of MS Office software.
Must be a U.S. citizen and possess a high school diploma orequivalent.
