Business Analyst - Workflow Automation & SOP Development (DocuWare Focus)
We’re seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with expertise in workflow automation and document management platforms (e.g., DocuWare) to support the development and implementation of standardized operating procedures. This role will lead process analysis, workflow design, and system configuration, translating business requirements into efficient, automated workflows and structured SOPs.
Key Responsibilities Include
Conduct stakeholder interviews and analyze existing processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and compliance risks
Develop current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) process maps to support process standardization
Design and implement automated workflows using DocuWare or similar platforms, including routing, approvals, and document lifecycle management
Translate business requirements into system configurations and workflow logic
Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment between process design, system functionality, and SOP documentation
Support user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshoot issues, and refine workflows as needed
Assist with platform deployment and support user onboarding and adoption
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
Minimum 5-8+ years of Business Analysis experience
Demonstrated experience with workflow automation and process improvement
Hands-on experience with DocuWare, SharePoint, Power Automate, or similar platforms
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Experience supporting public sector or regulated environments
Familiarity with document management systems and records management practices
