Job Duties and Responsibilities
Create innovative, unique, and memorable activities for resort guests
Manage and schedule a team of Activities Associates
Oversee all guest-related activities on property, such as painting classes, exercise classes, concerts, and more
Oversee guests’ recreation areas, including the pool, gym, and other guest areas
Follow all safety regulations and protocols
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of experience in recreation/health club operations or related professional area
or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Health Education, Physical Education, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major; no work experience required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Passionate about hospitality and eager to create memorable guest experiences
Able to quickly adapt and pivot when needed, for example when activities must be altered due to weather changes
Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate easily with guests
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
Capability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
Available to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
