Responsibilities
Review and process confidential licensing and endorsement applications.
Provide general licensing status information and continuing education requirements to the public via written and verbal communication.
Use the Division’s Licensing and Enforcement Database (LEIDS) and related software to respond to customer inquiries, ensuring compliance with statutory laws and rules.
Maintain current information on licensees by reviewing submitted documentation and updating LEIDS and related systems accurately.
Respond to licensees with written verification when changes are completed, while maintaining confidentiality.
Recommend and assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve board office operations.
Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support board functions.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Interpret Florida Statutes and administrative codes related to professional licensing and regulation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer systems.
Ability to learn and utilize specialized job‑specific software such as LEIDS and AxiomPro.
Data compilation, organization, and analysis skills.
Consultative assistance skills and effective communication with individuals.
Planning, organizing, and coordinating work activities on a pre‑approved schedule.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be physically present in the office to perform job duties.
Where You Will Work
Our office is located in the Southwood area of Tallahassee at 4042 Bald Cypress Way, Tallahassee, FL 32399. This is a fully on‑site position; employees are required to work from the Tallahassee office five days per week with no telework option.
