We’re hiring a proactive, experienced Production Manager to oversee food manufacturing operations at our Haverhill facility. Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate daily food manufacturing operations across all shifts.
Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and SQF food safety standards at all times.
Plan and manage shift scheduling, staffing, and labor resources based on production demands.
Oversee inventory management to ensure materials are available and aligned with production schedules.
Partner with the maintenance team to support preventive maintenance and reduce equipment downtime.
Motivate and supervise hourly production staff, fostering a high-performance, safety-focused culture.
Monitor performance metrics and implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and optimize efficiency.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Planning, Sanitation, HR, and Logistics.
Maintain accurate production reports, labor records, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Production Manager role within food manufacturing (required)
Demonstrated success managing hourly shift teams in a fast-paced production environment
Strong understanding of food safety programs (GMP, HACCP, SQF)
Proficiency in inventory planning, shift scheduling, and labor optimization
Experience in implementing lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes
Working knowledge of ERP or production software; strong Microsoft Office skills
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent hands‑on manufacturing leadership experience
Shift Coverage: All shifts
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday with flexibility for weekends and extended hours
