Project Manager

Responsibilities

Lead the conceptual, preliminary, and final detailed design of new and upgraded transmission lines.
Oversee material procurement and provide construction support through line energization.
Manage project scoping, budgeting, scheduling, planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting for transmission line projects and proposals.
Supervise project teams consisting of engineers, designers, drafters, and support staff.
Ensure adherence to internal quality control procedures, delivering best-in-class project execution and results.
Coordinate with subject matter experts in disciplines such as:
Substation Engineering
Civil Engineering
Surveying
Lands / Right-of-Way
Project Management / Controls
Serve as the primary point of contact with clients and project stakeholders.
Provide technical mentorship, guidance, and training to project team members.
Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
5+ years of project engineering experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ years of demonstrated project management and leadership experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organization, planning, and time management abilities.
Commitment to quality, accuracy, and meeting aggressive project schedules.
Advanced knowledge of transmission engineering principles.
Expertise in applicable industry codes, standards, and design tools.
Ability to direct and oversee multiple technical disciplines simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve conflicting priorities and schedules.
Preferred Qualifications

Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Additional Requirements

Ability to pass client-mandated drug and background screenings.
Occasional travel/driving required.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
