MCCC Part-Time Unit-Professional ADA Test Proctor (ADR)

More than half of Massasoit's students identify as students of color, and more than half are first generation to attend college. Approximately 700 students annually earn an associate degree or certificate, advancing their educational and career goals.
Located in Brockton, Massachusetts - a vibrant and diverse city of approximately 105,000 residents - Massasoit's main campus reflects and celebrates the community it serves. The College also operates a campus in Canton, a satellite location in Middleborough, and serves students from more than 45 cities and towns across southeastern Massachusetts.
Job Description:
The Access and Disabilities Resources (ADR) department at Massasoit Community College is committed to ensuring that students with disabilities have equal, effective, and meaningful access to all academic programs, community events, goods, and services provided by the college in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. As part of ADR, the PT ADA Test Proctor will manage accommodated testing sessions at the Brockton, Canton and/or Middleborough sites and online. The Test Proctor will ensure appropriate implementation of accommodations in the testing process.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Administer and proctor accommodated classroom and Accuplacer exams to students in accordance with ADR testing policies and procedures
Maintain security and confidentiality regarding student information and all aspects of testing in accord with FERPA and established office procedures
Work with Access and Disability Resources staff to resolve any test administration problems
Maintain required digital and paper recordkeeping of testing sessions
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
Strong interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Commitment to community college mission
Knowledge/skill using Microsoft Office applications and Outlook
Preferred:
Experience working with individuals with disabilities
Familiarity with assistive technology and software
Working knowledge of ADA
Additional Information:
Position Status: Part-time, Non-benefited Massachusetts Community College Council (MCCC) union position
Supervisor: Director of Academic Support Services
Hours: Variable. 2 - 18 hours per week (hours, schedule and location will vary, depending upon testing need)
Salary: $36.55 per hour
Worksite: Assignments will include all Massasoit sites and additional locations as necessary.
