Overview
Job Description
The Quality Specialist is responsible for supporting the Quality Department with various functions, including audit coordination, document control, engineering change tracking, data support, and general administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
Schedule and track Layered Process Audits (LPAs) and Internal Audits.
Maintain audit logs and follow up on corrective actions.
Support document control activities, including revisions, tracking, and distribution.
Assist with Engineering Change Order (ECO) tracking and routing.
Maintain stamp issuance logs and authorization records.
Support the organization of inspection delegations.
Compile and update quality metrics and reports.
Provide general administrative support to the Quality team.
Essential Skills
Experience in auditing and document control.
Proficient in Quality Management System (QMS) management.
Knowledgeable in inspection processes and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Familiarity with AS9100 and AS9102 standards.
Ability to track and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
High attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Comfortable working with data and tracking spreadsheets.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing or a regulated environment (e.g., AS9100).
Exposure to quality systems or audits.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Wareham, MA.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
