Family Development Specialist
West Central Community Action is now seeking a Family Development Specialist for our FaDSS Program.
Family Development Specialists work to provide a comprehensive system of support that empowers and nurtures families towards self-sufficiency while maintaining and building strong relationships.
This Full-Time, 40 hours per week & year-round position that will be based in Council Bluffs, Iowa, This position will be required to work with clients within our 10 county coverage area.
Position Requirements
Specialists are required to conduct meetings with program participants within the participant's home.
Ideal candidate should be organized and proficient in the ability to interpret rules and regulations as they pertain to programs that are directed at low-income families.
Strong computer proficiency and working knowledge of web based programs required.
Bachelor of Arts or Science in Social Work or Human Services preferred but not required.
High School Diploma Required
FaDSS Specialists are required to complete the Family Development Specialist certification training.
Regular Travel within 10 county area may be required.
Valid Driver's license and valid auto liability required
