
Business Systems Analyst

Role Summary
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support the day-to-day health, performance, and improvement of core business applications and data systems. This person will play a key role in troubleshooting data and system issues, supporting CRM-related processes, assisting with testing and releases, and partnering with both technical and business teams to keep initiatives moving forward. This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of systems, data, and cross-functional collaboration.
What You’ll Be Doing
Monitor and support ongoing CRM and data feed activity to help ensure systems are running accurately and efficiently
Investigate data issues, identify root causes, and help resolve problems impacting end users
Maintain database reliability through validation efforts, backups, and general system oversight
Assist with system updates, environment refreshes, and production support activities
Write and run ad hoc queries to support reporting, troubleshooting, and project-related needs
Support data imports, exports, and integrations across business systems
Contribute to project work from early planning through implementation and post-launch support
Prepare and maintain documentation such as process flows, release notes, and technical reference materials
Partner with development teams during testing cycles, bug tracking, and issue resolution
Help coordinate user acceptance testing and support sign-off activities
Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to support operational and project-based needs
Provide occasional support across broader technical operations as needed
What We’re Looking For
At least 2 years of experience working with business systems, databases, or application support
Experience supporting database‑driven environments and resolving data‑related issues
Hands‑on experience with SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle
Familiarity with CRM and/or ERP platforms and data movement processes
Exposure to tools such as SSIS is a plus
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to investigate issues and think through solutions
Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and work with a high level of accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document technical information clearly
Comfortable working independently while also collaborating across teams
Prior experience in insurance or another regulated environment is a plus
Education
Associate’s degree in Information Technology or a related field with relevant hands‑on experience, or equivalent practical experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred
Work Environment
This role may be performed in an office setting or in a secure remote environment depending on business needs
Standard office equipment and computer‑based work are part of the day‑to‑day responsibilities
Physical Requirements
Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time
Frequent sitting, with occasional walking, reaching, and general office movement
Ability to communicate effectively in a team‑based work environment
