Job Overview
Full-time position for a Licensed Practical Nurse at Life Care Centers of America. Working 12‑hour shifts (6 PM‑6 AM), available every other weekend and every other holiday. Starting pay up to $36 per hour. New graduates welcomed.
About the Role
The LPN delivers quality nursing care to patients within an interdisciplinary team, monitoring patient conditions, supervising CNAs, and ensuring care complies with regulations and Life Care standards.
Responsibilities
Deliver quality nursing care to patients.
Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions.
Assign duties, instruct, and provide clinical supervision to CNAs.
Use independent judgement when circumstances warrant.
Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
Requirements
Graduated from an accredited LPN program.
Active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing in applicable state.
One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.
CPR certification upon hire or within orientation; must remain current.
