Job Overview
Travel Respiratory Therapist needed for a 13‑week contract in Petersburg, West Virginia. The position starts ASAP, requires 36 hours per week and involves 12‑hour rotating night shifts from 5:45 pm to 6:15 am.
Key Responsibilities
Manage ventilatory support for patients, including ABG draws, CPAP/BiPAP, high‑flow nasal cannula, nebulizers, and MDIs.
Provide support in outpatient settings, including nocturnal pulse oximetry and blood gas analysis.
Collaborate with medical staff and manage patients effectively during night shifts.
Participate in equipment management, including Hamilton Medical C1 & C3 vents and GEM5000 ABG analyzer.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) acceptable.
Current certifications in BLS (AHA) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required.
Experience with ventilatory management and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
