Job Summary and Qualifications
Responsible for clinical management of the unit.
Able to perform all functions of a Cardiac Rehab staff RN.
Functions as a role model providing leadership for the unit.
Assists in staff personnel management including hiring, orientation, and continuing education.
Assures satisfaction of customers (patients, visitors, physicians and staff)
Assures compliance with professional, regulatory, governmental and organizational standards.
Actively participates in Quality Management activities.
Maintains AACVPR program certification.
Participates in policy development and revision.
Assures appropriate documentation.
Demonstrates effective communication skills.
Assists in assuring cost effective unit operations.
Demonstrates an awareness of self-learning needs.
Qualifications you will need:
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred
Current RN Virginia license or has a compact multistate license
Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Required: Two years experience as a staff nurse on a Telemetry or Critical Care Unit
Preferred: Stress Lab Experience
