Annual Salary Range: $105k - $135k plus annual discretionary bonus

About the Role
As an Assistant Controller, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our financial operations. You'll support the Controller in overseeing daily accounting functions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with GAAP.
This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, ownership, and problem-solving are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage and support the month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
Assist with annual audits and tax return preparation
Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
Collaborate cross-functionally to support business operations and reporting needs
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in accounting
3-5 years of accounting experience (public accounting experience preferred)
CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
Experience preparing financial statements and managing close cycles
Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including pivot tables and financial modeling)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Mortgage or real estate industry experience is a plus
