Surgical Faculty Physician – Adult Reconstruction / Hip and Knee Arthroplasty
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Michigan Medical School is recruiting a surgical faculty physician for the Orthopaedic Adult Reconstruction/Hip and Knee Arthroplasty team. The team works across several Michigan Medicine sites to deliver high‑quality lower extremity arthroplasty care. The role includes patient care, teaching, and research, with opportunities to develop an elective subspecialty practice.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care for adult reconstruction, hip, and knee arthroplasty procedures.

Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.

Conduct and participate in collaborative clinical research, scholarly activities, and professional development.

Required Qualifications

MD with board certification or eligibility.

Completed specialty fellowship training in orthopaedic arthroplasty surgery.

Held or ability to obtain medical licenses in Michigan.

Demonstrated excellence in teaching and clinical care.

Associated research interests.
