
Product Coordinator

The Product Coordinator supports the Buying team in development, launch and lifecycle management of frame product for AEG practices. This role works closely with Buyers to ensure frames are delivered on time, accurately represented, and aligned with company needs. This position is charged with product set up and UPC maintenance on POS system, vendor order placement, data management and recall assistance.
Job Description
Manage product Help Desk tickets. Responds in a timely manner with accurate information and tracks common requests.
Responsible for all steps included in item set-up and purchase order creation and management, including Special Orders, as well as all assortment data validation.
Manages all cost and retail price changes and works closely with our vendors and the accounting team on price discrepancy resolution through 3-way match.
Assists with managing our Lifecycle management process for discontinued product and product recalls back to our lab and DC
Assists the team in preparing for vendor meetings
Update and maintain frame image files
Responsible for status code changes
Works closely with Planning team on practice allocation needs around physical inventory timing
Requirements
College Degree is preferred and/or a strong history of achievement in product merchandising over a period of several years.
Optical retail experience preferred but not required
Has a track record of being analytical, technical and system savvy
Strong Excel and POS set up skills
Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to multi-task
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
