Facility near Detroit, MI seeking NeuroSurg locums coverage Rates: $3000 per 24 hour call, $500/hr Call-back. Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: Weekend coverage (Friday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM)
• Call Requirements: 100% 24-hour weekend/holiday call
• Trauma Level: Level II
• EMR: Epic
• Credentialing Timeframe: days

Clinical Responsibilities The physician will manage a variety of adult neurosurgery and trauma cases within a hospital-based setting. Key responsibilities include:

• Trauma & Critical Care: Management of brain bleeds, trauma repair, and critical care procedures such as external ventricular drain management and ICP/CPP monitoring.
• Spine Surgery: Performing spinal fusions, laminectomies, diskectomies, and vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty.
• Team Dynamics: Working alongside a group of two neurosurgeons and additional locums support.

Provider Requirements

• Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery (Required).
• Licensure: Active Michigan medical license (Required).
• Clinical Proficiency: Proven ability to perform full-scope adult neurosurgery, complex spine surgery, and neuro-critical care procedures (Required).
• EMR Experience: Familiarity with the Epic EMR system (Required).
• Certifications: Active BLS certification (Required).
• Background: A Self-Query NPDB report pulled within the current month must be provided at the time of presentation (Required).
• Education: Fellowship training in Neurosurgery is preferred.
