Locums - Johnstown, Pennsylvania Urology Opportunity (IMLC Accepted)

Clinical RoleProvide comprehensive urology coverage including call, rounding, and procedural care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of clinical responsibilities with support from an established care team.

Start Date: ASAPAssignment Length: Ongoing

• 24-hour call coverage (8:00 AM - 8:00 AM)
• Mix of inpatient rounding and outpatient responsibilities
• Approximately 2-4 inpatients per day
• Average of 5-7 consults per day
• Balanced practice: 15% inpatient / 85% outpatient
• Established team with physician and APP support

• 24-hour call shifts: 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM
• Weekday and weekend coverage needed
• Office hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• One assigned OR day per week (starting at 7:00 AM)

Setting: Hospital / Clinic

Patient Population: Adult & Geriatric

• 40% Adult
• 60% Geriatric
• 0% Pediatric

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing 24-hour urology call coverage
• Rounding on inpatient census (2-4 patients)
• Responding to consults in a timely manner (5-7 per day)
• Managing assigned and unassigned patients
• Performing urologic procedures as needed
• Participating in clinic and OR responsibilities

Required:

• General adult urology
• Ureteroscopy
• TRUS biopsies
• Incontinence procedures
• Holmium laser certification

Preferred:

• Percutaneous nephrolithotomy
• Radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit
• Radical prostatectomy
• Fertility workup

Additional:

• Destoning - required

Facility Details:

• Established urology practice with both inpatient and outpatient care

Support Staff:

• 2 physicians
• 2 physician assistants
• Practice manager
• RN
• 4 clinical staff
• 2 surgical schedulers
• 5 front office staff

Technology:

• EMR: Epic

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology - required
• Active Pennsylvania license - required (IMLC accepted)
