We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for our orthopedic outpatient sites in Springfield and Northampton, MA.
This role is designed for a clinician who thrives in a collaborative, physician‑aligned setting and enjoys delivering hands‑on therapeutic care.
What You’ll Do
Deliver hands‑on treatments including therapeutic exercise and neuromuscular re‑education under PT supervision.
Support recovery for post‑operative patients, sports injuries, and chronic orthopedic conditions.
Educate patients on home exercise programs and safe functional progression.
Communicate daily with Physical Therapists and orthopedic providers to ensure seamless patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation of daily treatments in our EMR.
What You Bring
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
Active (or eligible) Massachusetts PTA license.
Strong clinical reasoning and organization; orthopedic or outpatient experience preferred but open to mentoring high‑potential candidates.
A collaborative spirit and passion for helping the community return to active lifestyles.
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly rate $27–$36 per hour with lucrative bonus potential (up to $6,000).
Sign‑on bonus $2,500.
No evenings or weekends; Monday‑Friday day shift.
5 % employer 401(k) contribution regardless of employee contribution.
