Collections Intern — Catalog & Research (Summer 2026)

The Virginia Museum of History & Culture is seeking a John R. Nelson Collections Intern for Summer 2026. This part-time internship involves assisting in cataloging collections in collaboration with the Black History Museum & Cultural Center of Virginia. Interns will receive comprehensive training in collections handling and management, gain practical experience, and participate in museum projects. The role requires current students in relevant fields and offers an hourly rate of $13.00. Work locations include BHMVA and VMHC.
