We are looking for a Clinical Coordinator for the BSN Nursing Program to join our team. A Nursing License is not required.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of all aspects of clinical experiences in the Nursing Department, including clinical faculty, students, and clinical agencies.
Collaborate with didactic and lead faculty to ensure clinical experiences and practice skills reflect the application of theoretical material presented in the classroom and laboratory.
Participate in recruitment, hiring, and evaluation of clinical faculty.
Monitor and evaluate clinical sites used for clinical experiences in all nursing courses and maintain positive relationships with clinical site staff.
Orient clinical faculty to ensure program and course outcomes are met and conduct site visits during each clinical rotation to evaluate and support clinical instructors.
Assist the Career Services Department in placing newly licensed graduates into nursing positions.
Maintain all required documentation for faculty, staff, and students.
Monitor and mentor all clinical faculty and maintain strong relationships with clinical agencies.
Perform agency site visits and document outcomes; resolve issues involving clinical faculty, students, and sites.
Ensure all clinical documentation is accurate, current, and complete; orient new clinical faculty.
Work with didactic and lead faculty to integrate theoretical content with clinical objectives; attend clinical orientations at agencies as needed.
Conduct on-campus orientations before each clinical rotation; participate in faculty meetings and campus events as requested.
Maintain 100% compliance with accreditation guidelines in clinical aspects of the nursing program; ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation requirements.
Demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills; work with campus departmental staff and support company initiatives.
Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Qualifications
At least 2-3 years of experience scheduling clinical rotations or related shift work.
Excellent diplomatic communications skills.
Desire to work with BSN students.
Strong working knowledge of Excel.
Pay and Benefits
Pay range: $34-40/HR based on experience.
Medical, Dental and Vision starting the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment
2 weeks of starting vacation per year, increasing with years of service
