Allendale Treatment is seeking a compassionate and skilled
Group Therapist
to provide high-quality care to adults experiencing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. This role is centered around facilitating impactful group therapy sessions, supporting recovery, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary clinical team in a structured inpatient setting.
What You’ll Do
Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on addiction, mental health, and co-occurring disorders
Conduct patient assessments and identify individualized treatment needs
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment interventions as needed
Respond to crisis situations, including suicide risk and de-escalation
Maintain accurate and timely documentation (KIPU experience preferred)
Collaborate with medical, nursing, and behavioral health teams
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and ethical care standards
Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary team meetings
What We’re Looking For
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
Active Indiana licensure (LCAC, LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, or PsyD)
Experience in addiction treatment or mental health preferred
Strong group facilitation, assessment, and crisis intervention skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
